reduce food waste by 60% over two years - s
aving 90,000 meals from landfill. This initiative is a key component of their
mission to minimize environmental impact and aligns with their ambitious emission reduction targets. Through
strategic measures and innovative solutions like
Winnow's Transform Package, Chef Tim and the kitchen team have both significantly reduced their food waste and contributed positively to the community by redirecting unavoidable food waste to charities.
The impactful results from January to June 2023 include:
- 60% reduction in food waste
- 90,000 meals saved from landfill
- €150,000 saved on food costs
